Embroidery
What it is
Embroidery as we know it, is stitched with a computerized embroidery machine using patterns “digitized” with embroidery software. With this embroidery, different types of “fills” add texture and design to the finished work. Simply put … we take your logo and put it in stitches
How it’s done
Our embroidery software recreates your logo and then creates the fill patterns for the stitches and segments the colors Once you approve the stitch out as well as colors, the file is then “cast in stone” to be reused over and over exactly the same.
When to use
Embroidery is commonly used to add logos and monograms to business shirts or jackets, gifts including hats and even brief cases, team apparel as well as to decorate household linens, draperies, decorator fabrics and more. If you can “hoop” it, we can embroider it – it’s all about you and promoting YOUR brand.
Tackle Twill
What it is
Tackle Twill is an appliqué process by cutting pieces of one material and applying them to the surface of another material. It is used usually when you want a bold look to your design but want to keep the stitch count down for the sake of affordability. Tackle Twill can create very unique designs through creating a three-dimensional work of art that is clean and clear
When to use
This type of decorating is popular for both sports teams and school athletic organizations on jerseys and uniforms. There is a good chance your favorite professional team’s logo is done using tackle twill.. even the players number and name!
Many banners used at corporate events and charity functions also use a combination of tackle twill and embroidery for a richer look and long term durability.
Tackle twill is used for various products including patches and lettering on hoodies, tees, jackets and even baseball caps. Customers can also use tackle twill to customize their Varsity Jackets and letter sweaters.
Screen Printing
What it is
Screen printing is a printing technique that uses a woven mesh to support an ink-blocking stencil. The attached stencil forms open areas of mesh that transfer ink or other printable materials which can be pressed through the mesh as a sharp-edged image onto a substrate. A roller or squeegee is moved across the screen stencil, forcing or pumping ink past the threads of the woven mesh in the open areas.
When to use
Very popular with in the marketing and advertising industry. Flyers, posters, hand outs, advertisements and other point of sale or graphics products are all screen printed.
The sports industry also uses screen printing to print souvenirs and collectible items. T-shirts printed with the logos of popular teams, souvenirs like caps, sweatshirts, mouse pads, key chains, baseball bats and a host of other items are all screen printed. Thus, screen printing has been used in numerous applications. Everywhere you look you will find examples of screen printing.
